D. S. Randall is a retired Lutheran pastor. His career included two years as a cartographer, eight years as a public school teacher, thirty years as a full time pastor, and ten years as a part time and vacancy pastor. He has served congregations in coastal Oregon, Washington State near Seattle, and in rural Wisconsin villages and cities.

Randall has published a Bible study guide for the Genesis Flood. He writes and arranges music for choir, mixed ensembles, and concert band; and plays bass clarinet, guitar, and accordion. He also enjoys drawing and water colors, sailing, canoeing, cycling, hiking, and model railroads.
